Sunday Psalm #251
June 11, 2017
Praise the Lord, Jerusalem
Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ
June 18, 2017
The English psalm settings are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa and Patrick John M. Fernandez, while the Filipino settings are by Mark Anthony B. Laroya, and Jeffrey Ray C. Miguel.
God fills you "with the best of wheat" (psalm), the very person of Jesus. But God is also nourishing you to participate in the death and resurrection of Jesus (see second reading). What does the gift of the Eucharist mean to you? How can you grow in your willingness to die with Jesus so that you can rise with him? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2011, p. 163)

Sunday Psalm #250
June 4, 2017
Glory and praise for ever!
Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity
June 11, 2017
The English psalm settings are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa and Patrick John M. Fernandez, while the Filipino settings are by John Patrick M. Fernandez, and Marc Misael S. Gamil.
An excellent preparation for leading this canticle would be to use part of it (e.g. "Blessed are you, God!" or, "Glory and praise to you, God!") as a personal prayer every day this week. Sing it as you rise each morning, as you see new spring life pushing up from the ground, as you look upon the face of a loved one, as you share a meal. Sing it wherever you see pain eased, forgiveness given, hope rekindled. You will be celebrating the God in who you believe and the assembly will hear this in your singing on Sunday. (Cf. Living Liturgy 2011, p. 157)
