Sunday Psalm #303
June 3, 2018
With the Lord there is mercy Tenth Sunday in Ordinary Time (B) June 10, 2018 The English psalm settings are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa and Jeffrey Ray C. Miguel while the Filipino Psalm is by Kent Lardizabal. Psalm 130 is also a common psalm for the season of Lent. Having come in touch with our own sin while hearing of the sin of Adam and Eve in the First Reading, the psalm refrain calls us to express confidence in the Lord's mercy. When our hearts reside with the Lord, we will know his mercy. Even when we have to cry out to the Lord from the depths of despair, he offers redemption.
