Sunday Psalm #244
April 30, 2017
The Lord is my shepherd
Fourth Sunday of Easter (A)
May 7, 2017
The English psalm settings are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa, Jeffrey Ray C. Miguel, and Joey Delos Santos while the Filipino settings are by Kent Lardizabal, Dennis N. Marasigan and Jeffrey Ray C. Miguel.
Psalm 23 promises you Christ's loving and protective presence as you continue on your journey of discipleship. This journey is a long one and the possibilities of becoming lost, losing hope, being misled are real. But there is a Shepherd who is both by your side and ahead of you, one who has already journeyed the way of death and resurrection and knows its path. As you sing, take his hand and walk confidently. (Cf. Living Liturgy 2011, p. 131)

Sunday Psalm #243
April 23, 2017
Lord, you will show us the path of life
Third Sunday of Easter (A)
April 30, 2017
The English psalm settings are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa and Marc Misael S. Gamil.
In this responsorial psalm you acknowledge that God shows you the "path of life." The gospel reveals that this path is one of personal encounter with Christ who leads you through Scripture, Eucharist, and prayerful conversation to faith in his resurrection. When and how have you encountered Christ in these ways? Who has helped you see and hear him? How in singing this psalm can you help the assembly to see and hear him? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2011, p. 127)

Sunday Psalm #242
April 16, 2017
Give thanks to the Lord Divine Mercy Sunday / Second Sunday of Easter (A) April 23, 2017 The English psalm settings are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa, and Pfotokho Kayina while the Filipino setting is by Dennis N. Marasigan. This Sunday's readings remind you that the reality of the resurrection is made manifest in the manner in which Christians break bread, care for the needy, pray together, and forgive one another. As preparation for singing the responsorial psalm, you might select one of these actions to live in some specific way this week. For example, you might consciously make a family meal a true breaking of Christ's bread. Or you might share some possession with someone in need. By doing so your singing of the psalm will come from a heart that believes in the resurrection because you have made it visible in your own life. (Cf. Living Liturgy 2011, p. 123) Please click the picture or the highlighted link to download the high resolution PDF files of our composers. Sunday Psalm #241
April 9, 2017
This is the day the Lord has made Mass of Easter Day April 16, 2017 The English psalm settings are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa, and Joey Delos Santos while the Filipino setting is by Marc Misael S. Gamil. In singing this psalm you testify to what the Lord has done for you. When testifying one first narrates what one has seen and heard and then declares what one believes about what he/she has seen and heard. This psalm is your testimony about God and it becomes a communal song of praise as it moves others to testify to what God has done in their lives. One cannot have an encounter with God without talking about it. So as you sing this song, remember that you are proclaiming God's mighty deed of delivering us from bondage when we cannot free ourselves. (Cf. Working Preacher) Please click the picture or the highlighted link to download the high resolution PDF files of our composers. Sunday Psalm #240
April 2, 2017
My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?
Palm Sunday of Lent (A)
April 9, 2017
The English psalm settings are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa, Jeffrey Ray C. Miguel, and Ken Steven while the Filipino setting is by Dennis N. Marasigan.
In these verses of Psalm 22 you sing not only about Jesus' suffering bu also about his exaltation into glory through this suffering. You sing also about your own suffering and exaltation, for through baptism you participate in Jesus' death and resurrection. How willing are you to undergo the death required for exaltation? How willing are you to ask the assembly to do so? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2011, p. 105)
