Sunday Psalm #328
November 25, 2018
To you, O Lord, I lift my soul First Sunday of Advent (C) December 2, 2018 Our settings in English for next Sunday are by Alejandro D. Consolacion and Tinnah M. dela Rosa while our Filipino setting is by and Dennis N. Marasigan. In this psalm the "way" you beg to come to know is not a set of rules, but a Person: God who is good and upright, kind and constant, faithful and forgiving. How might you "lift your soul" to God during this week so that you might sing this psalm on Sunday with more power and conviction? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2013, p. 3) Please click the pictures or the highlighted link to download the high resolution PDF files of our composers. Sunday Psalm #327
November 18, 2018
The Lord is king
The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King (B)
November 25, 2018
Our settings in English for next Sunday are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa and Jeffrey Ray C. Miguel while our Filipino setting are by Alejandro D. Consolacion and Dennis N. Marasigan.
In this Sunday's responsorial psalm you shout what you have believed in and remained faithful to even when factors of everyday life made it appear otherwise: Christ is King, the Alpha and Omega (second reading), the meaning and endpoint of all existence. The joy with which you will sing this psalm will be directly related to the faithfulness with which you have walked this year's journey through Ordinary Time. Take time this week to thank Christ for showing you the way and for strengthening you when you felt weak and weary. Take time also to thank Christ for all those other faithful disciples who have walked with you. (Cf. Living Liturgy 2012, p. 255)

Sunday Psalm #326
November 11, 2018
You are my inheritance, O Lord Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time (B) November 18, 2018 Our settings in English for next Sunday are by Alejandro D. Consolacion and Tinnah M. dela Rosa while our Filipino setting is by Dennis N. Marasigan. The joy and confidence you sing about in this Sunday's responsorial psalm is not naive. You are not a "happy-go-lucky" beginner but an experienced disciple on a road that you know will lead you to the cross. Your choice to make God your "inheritance" is made with full confidence of its reward as well as full awareness of its cost. In what ways have you already encountered its cost? In what ways have you already experienced its reward? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2012, p. 249) Please click the pictures or the highlighted link to download the high resolution PDF files of our composers. Sunday Psalm #325
November 4, 2018
Praise the Lord, my soul! Thirty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time (B) November 11, 2018 Our settings in English for next Sunday are by Alejandro D. Consolacion and Tinnah M. dela Rosa while our Filipino setting is by Dennis N. Marasigan. This responsorial psalm needs to be sung with confidence in God's providence and protection. But unless you give all that you have - your whole heart - you will never discover what God is giving you in return. What do you hold back? What would give you the courage to give it over? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2012, p. 245) Please click the pictures or the highlighted link to download the high resolution PDF files of our composers.
