Sunday Psalm #199
June 19, 2016
You are my inheritance, O Lord
Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time (C)
June 26, 2016
Our psalm settings in English are by Alejandro D. Consolacion II, Tinnah M. dela Rosa, and Patrick John M. Fernandez.
This Sunday's psalm tells of all that you have been given because you have chosen discipleship: counsel, joy, life, refuge. Above all you have been given God's very self as your "portion" and "lot." Your singing this psalm testifies that you know the reward of discipleship is far greater than its cost. How have you come to know this? Who has taught you this? To whom are you teaching it? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2013, p. 167)

Sunday Psalm #198
June 12, 2016
My soul is thirsting for you
Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time (C)
June 19, 2016
Our psalm settings in English are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa, Patrick John M. Fernandez, Kent Lardizabal and Ken Steven.
In the context of this Sunday's readings, this responsorial psalm is a courageous, and confident, prayer to make. Jesus pours out his thirst for God as he seeks the reassurance he needs to bear the suffering and death incumbent upon him (gospel). You lead the assembly in joining Jesus in this prayer and the commitment it implies. Do you accept where thirsting for God will ultimately lead you? Do you believe that only carrying the cross will bring ultimate satisfaction? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2013, p. 159)

June 5, 2016
Lord, forgive the wrong I have done
Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time (C)
June 12, 2016
Our psalm settings in English are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa and Patrick John M. Fernandez.
Spend some time this week reflecting on the overwhelming mercy of God who longs to forgive no matter what the sin. What moves you to ask for this forgiveness? What moves you to resist it? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2013, p. 155)
