About Tinnah
Musician-Creative Liturgist
Tinnah dela Rosa is passionate about leading people to pray and sing through liturgies and music that aid in the full, conscious, and active participation of the worshiping community. Challenged by her mentor, the late National Artist for Music Dr. Francisco F. Feliciano, to discover her roots, Tinnah has sharpened her vision and hearing so as to see and hear the great Composer and Conductor of all creation. It is this recognition that has given birth to many of her liturgical compositions.
In 2010, she authored a manual of non-sacramental liturgies for the Spiritual Exercises called, "Praise". It was also in this year when she became one of the two principal conductors and the chief cantor who taught new songs to about 6,000 young people who participated in the Taizé Pilgrimage of Trust, an international youth conference held in Manila, Philippines.
In 2011, she served as chairperson of the National Youth Day's Liturgy Team where she led in the composition and selection of music, the writing, organization and implementation of the daily family liturgies and Pontifical Masses. These liturgies and masses were celebrated in five catechetical sites throughout Metro Manila during the week-long national event.
In 2012, Tinnah composed, arranged, published and produced a songbook and CD of a music setting called the Gaudium Mass for the revised Roman Missal.
At present she sings with Novo Concertante Manila, a choral group that serves at Christ the King Parish in Greenmeadows at the Diocese of Cubao.
