Sunday Psalm #266
September 24, 2017
Remember your mercies, O Lord
Twenty-sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time (A)
October 1, 2017
Our psalm setting in English is by Tinnah M. dela Rosa while our psalm setting in Filipino is by Marc Misael S. Gamil.
What do these verses from Psalm 25 reveal about God's manner of relating to human beings? How do they invite you to relate to God in return? On a personal level, what ways do you need to ask God to teach you? How is God doing this teaching? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2011, p. 221)

Sunday Psalm #265
September 17, 2017
The Lord is near to all who call upon him
Twenty-fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time (A)
September 24, 2017
Our psalm setting in English is by Tinnah M. dela Rosa while our psalm setting in Filipino is by Marc Misael S. Gamil.
These readings and the psalm offer you many avenues of prayer and reflection as you prepare to do your ministry this weekend. For example, what ways or thoughts of God seem to elude you (first reading)? How does God bring these ways and thoughts "near" (psalm)? When have you been the recipient of God's mercy and compassion? How has this helped you offer the same mercy and compassion to others? When have you struggled with seeming unfairness in God's manner of treating yourself and others? What/who has helped you shift your understanding to God's perspective? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2011, p. 217)

Sunday Psalm #264
September 10, 2017
The Lord is kind and merciful Twenty-fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time (A) September 17, 2017 Our psalm setting in English is by Tinnah M. dela Rosa. Last Sunday you challenged the assembly to "harden not [their] hearts." This Sunday you sing about One who has the softest of hearts - God whose forgiveness is unceasing, incalculable, and universal. How can you let God's forgiveness enter your heart? Where do you need to offer forgiveness for the seventy-seventh time (gospel)? Where do you need to receive it for the seventy-seventh time? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2011, p. 213) Please click the pictures or the highlighted link to download the high resolution PDF files of our composers. Sunday Psalm #263
September 3, 2017
If today you hear his voice Twenty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time (A) September 10, 2017 Our psalm settings in English are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa, and Patrick John M. Fernandez while our psalm setting in Filipino is by Dennis N. Marasigan. When you sing this psalm, you invite the assembly to be faithful to genuine worship. The psalm indicates that human beings have a poor track record in this regard. As you sing it, then you enact what the first reading and gospel demand: you speak honestly to the people about their behavior and invite them to conversion. As you prepare to sing this psalm, you might spend some time thanking God for those persons in your life who have challenged your behavior when it was not faithful. What gave them the courage to be so honest? What gave you the grace to hear what they were saying? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2011, p. 209) Please click the pictures or the highlighted link to download the high resolution PDF files of our composers.
