National Youth Day 2011 Foster Family Liturgy
This Foster Family Liturgy Manual is a guide to the National Youth Day’s prayers that were implemented before breakfast or dinner with the delegates who were hosted by a Foster Family. These prayers are inspired by the National Youth Day’s anchor verse, “So then, as you received Jesus as Lord and Christ, now live your lives in him, be rooted in him and built up on him, held firm by the faith you have been taught, and overflowing with thanksgiving” (Colossians 2:6-7). These daily prayers include steps and instructions to make the Foster Family and their delegates participate actively and fully in prayer. This liturgy was developed by the following National Youth Day Liturgy Team members (Anne Jayme, Jaymee Duran, Tinnah dela Rosa and Fr. Joseph Gatdula, FdCC).
Liturgies based on the Spiritual Exercises
The source and inspiration of these liturgies are the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Each liturgy is also accompanied by original compositions. Browse through the table of contents of the entire manual to see what you might need.
Loving as God Loves Prayer Service
This is a prayer service Tinnah dela Rosa developed and implemented in December 2009 based on Annotation Eighteen of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. It features 14 of her very own compositions as a graduate student of the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music.
Prayer for Peace
This prayer service was held during a Peace Rally sponsored by the Academy of Our Lady of Guam in Hagatna, Guam around the time of the invasion of Iraq in 2003.
