Sunday Psalm #338
January 27, 2019
I will sing of your salvation Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time (C) February 3, 2019 Our setting in English for next Sunday is by Tinnah M. dela Rosa. The confidence of this psalm is perfect counterbalance in the reality of persecution spoken of in both the first reading and the gospel. If you choose to be faithful in the mission you share with Christ, you will know rejection. But you will also know the intimate presence of the God who guides and protects you. Are you willing to take the risk? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2013, p. 53) Please click the picture or the highlighted link to download the high resolution PDF file of our composer. Sunday Psalm #337
January 20, 2019
Your words, Lord, are spirit and life Third Sunday in Ordinary Time (C) January 27, 2019 Our setting in English for next Sunday is by Tinnah M. dela Rosa. The Word of God about which you sing in this responsorial psalm is fulfilled in the person of Christ. As you pray the psalm in preparation this week, substitute the name of Christ for the words "law", "decree," "precept." etc. How does this deepen your understanding of the psalm? Your personal relationship with Christ? How might this affect your singing of the psalm for the assembly? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2013, p. 49) Please click the picture or the highlighted link to download the high resolution PDF file of our composer. Sunday Psalm #336
January 13, 2019
Proclaim his marvelous deeds
Second Sunday in Ordinary Time (C)
January 20, 2019
Our settings in English for next Sunday are by Alejandro D. Consolacion II and Tinnah M. dela Rosa.
You can only sing about the saving acts of God if you recognize them. Sometimes these saving acts come in extraordinary ways, but most often they in the quiet events of ordinary, everyday living. The trick is to see them so that you can believe. Be on the lookout this week for how Christ will turn the ordinary water of your life into the wine of salvation. (Cf. Living Liturgy 2013, p. 45)

Sunday Psalm #335
January 13, 2019
The Lord is king
Feast of the Santo Niño (Philippine Church)
January 20, 2019
The English psalm setting for the Feast of the Santo Niño is an original composition by Tinnah M. dela Rosa while the Filipino settings are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa, Dennis N. Marasigan, and Christian Yanez.
This coming Sunday, we celebrate the Feast of the Sto. Niño, the yearly observance that is so dear to the hearts of all Filipino Catholics. This feast brings us back to the beginning of the Christianization of our land but also enables us to see the relevance of this devotion to our lives today. In a special manner, it forces us to focus on our children and youth, with all the problems they encounter and the hopes they raise.
Today, and especially the Eucharistic celebration we are about to start, are renewed opportunities for us to entrust our “niños” and “binata” to the protection and guidance of the Holy Child. He, who is so much a part of our history and our lives, will surely take care of our children and youth and will teach us how to do likewise. (Cf. Euchalette, January 20, 2019)

Sunday Psalm #334

The Lord will bless his people with peace Feast of the Baptism of the Lord (C) January 13, 2019 Our settings in English for next Sunday are by Tinnah M. dela Rosa and Joey Delos Santos while our Filipino setting is by Dennis N. Marasigan. The numerous signs of God's glory which you enumerate in these psalm verses are external revelations of the even greater glory God works within you through your baptism in Christ. What might you do this week to renew your awareness of the power and grace of baptism? What might you do to bless God for this power and grace? (Cf. Sunday Psalm #333
December 30, 2018
Lord, every nation on earth will adore you The Epiphany of the Lord (C) January 6, 2019 Our settings in English for next Sunday are by Alejandro D. Consolacion and Tinnah M. dela Rosa while our Filipino setting is by Jeffrey Ray C. Miguel. When you sing this responsorial psalm, you reveal who Christ is: the justice, peace, and mercy of God in full flesh. You also participate in the church's prayer that all peoples recognize who Christ is and come to adore him. What might you do this week to be the justice of God in human flesh for someone? Who needs you to be the mercy of God made flesh? (Cf. Living Liturgy 2013, p. 35) Please click the picture or the highlighted link to download the high resolution PDF file of our composer.
